OUR STORY

At Off The Beaten Path Farm & Winery, we’re passionate about crafting exceptional wines and fostering connections with our land and community.  We are a small family, blessed by God, to steward this land and its bounty.  The land feeds our animals and provides fresh fruits, vegetables, and grapes.  We work to honor the history of our property, which was the childhood home and stomping ground for many of our neighbors.

When we arrived, we discovered that God had already provided many grape, muscadine, and elderberry plants for us on this ground, among other fascinating fruits (flowering quince, dewberry, and blackberry, just to name a few). We have chosen to use the harvest already provided as the basis for our wines.

We welcome our neighbors and visitors from far away to come visit our farm and winery.  We invite you to savor the fruits of our labor and share in our journey.
